I have had a desire to run this for a year so I am just gonna do it...I hope some of you can make it. There is no site fee, it is a reason to have a battle and have fun. It is at our practice site at Fairbanks park. Directions are on the Dragonspire forums.
Easter Egg Smash and Grab
Celebrating the holiday the Dagorhir way.
This is open to anyone that wants to participate; all realms and units are welcome. Those that want to play need to bring...
1) Dagorhir legal weapons and garb.
2) An Easter basket.
3) 5 plastic Easter eggs filled with goodies.
We will be fighting for possession of the most eggs. If a player looses all of their eggs they are out.
Part 1; Duels of Honor
Contestants will array themselves around the field near their baskets of goodies and challenge each other to single combat for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the number of people in the game.
These are duels of honor so no interference from other participants is allowed, nor are ranged weapons permitted in this part of the contest. The victor claims one egg from the vanquished and each goes on to fight other people. You can fight the same people over again but you must fight against each other person before returning to the same person again.
At the end of the time period the person with the most eggs will be declared the Grand High Easter Bunny (so they don’t take themselves too seriously) and the Bunnies vs. Gnomes battle will begin. The Gnome commander will be the one that scored second highest.
Part 2; Bunnies vs. Gnomes
If we get a lot of people on the field we will do some battles.
The battles are not limited to only those that were in the first part, all are welcome. All weapons types are allowed as well.
The GHEB is commander of the bunny army.
The GHEB and their home unit form up as the start of their army. If they do not have a unit present they may take ANY five fighters they choose to fill in their ranks. Being a Grand High Easter Bunny has its benefits.
The Gnome Commander gets their home unit, or lacking enough can take up to 5 from the remaining fighters.
The remaining units will be assigned by the Herald in order to balance the teams.
If there people still available then the Herald will distribute them to each team (the Herald reserves the right to decide a fair number that can be chosen each turn). If there are ten or less people remaining the Herald will simply split them up as he sees fit.
Three Battles for all of the Eggs
First battle; Bunnies defend the basket...1 point.
Second battle; Gnomes defend the basket...1 point.
Third battle; one big field battle as a tie breaker.
Defending the Basket
The defenders must keep the basket in their possession and eliminate the attackers. The attackers must carry the basket back to their ‘goal’. No re-spawns!

Alright Aethenu, this is comming up. Sanjuro said he was planning to go. Its looking like I will not be able to make it. What's everyone else thinking on this?

regretfully, my other brother from another mother does not want to go to this event. and so, I am stuck to my word to him. (but his ass is mine at the Olympics >_< )

Okay, my whole thing on this issss...
The family is celebrating the birth of Graybeard this Saturday.
so, we obviously wont be at the event and maybe probably not even at practice.
